ORGANIZATIONS AND AWARDS

Written by:

As a student at Duquesne University, I strove to maintain an appropriate balance between academic pursuits and social organizations. During the Spring 2024 semester, I became a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, a social organization which both developed my network at Duquesne and helped me gain new teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

As a member of AOII, I helped fundraise for the Arthritis Foundation, the organization’s national philanthropy, as well as the Variety Foundation, an organization that provides differently-abled children and teens with mobility and communication devices here in Pittsburgh.

I’m also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the national English Honors society. I presented at the 2026 Sigma Tau Delta Convention in New Orleans, which allowed me to explore a new part of the United States, while also gaining academic experience and networking with other students and professionals in my field.
