STUDY ABROAD

Written by:

I spent the Fall 2024 semester in Dublin, Ireland, studying at University College Dublin, the alma mater of notable modernist author James Joyce. During this time, I was immersed both in Irish culture and the country’s rich literary history, as well as the cultures of other countries across Europe.

One of the most formative aspects of my time abroad was the opportunity to travel beyond Ireland and experience languages and cultures entirely different from my own. Doing so emphasized to me the importance of celebrating difference and diversity, a belief which eventually lead to the completion of my research project.
